If Hollywood have their own Walk Of Fame along Hollywood Boulevard, entrepreneurs of the country started to make their own too. This is through the initiative of Kauffman Foundation to honor entrepreneurs at the top of their fields who have transformed the business culture and jumpstarted the economy. Kauffman sponsored the even and has inducted the first seven deserving entrepreneurs. Though not all of them came from the US, most Americans know them and their contribution in the business world.

Co-founder of Apple Inc. and former CEO Steve Jobs is definitely one of them. We really can’t deny the fact that he has contributed that much in our telecommunication industry. He has become an icon to everyone and his announcements has been always sought after. His presence in the world of telecommunication had become a need to other people. He stepped down as CEO earlier in the later part of August due to health related issues.

Seven were inducted in the Entrepreneur Walk of Fame and joining Jobs are Thomas Edison, Bill Gates, David Packard and Bill Hewlett, Mitch Kapor and Bob Swanson. Though not all seven are from the US, but they’re names are pretty familiar to the Americans because of their genius works in the world of entrepreneurship.

Surely this Walk of Fame would now become one of the goals that an entrepreneur would want to achieve. However, if you will just observe the common among the seven, all came from the technology sector. They should add other sectors of the business like real estates, agriculture, food chains, and those who are inclined in the social entrepreneurship sector.

Chris Bech, a real estate businessman who turned out to be a social entrepreneur in the Philippines might probably have the chance in the future when this Entrepreneurship Walk Of Fame would already consider entrepreneurs outside USA.
