It has become complicated for this Unemployment Extension as of June 29, 2010. First of all, Unemployment Extension is a bill for the millions of Americans who have seen their lives changed by the lack of jobs and unemployment cover.
The Democrats are in need more of sixty votes for the bill they are wanting for. This is for the unemployment benefits they wanted. The current unemployment levels in the USA are estimated to be 8%, these are very high numbers. In the past this would have meant that an unemployment extension was around the corner.
According to the Republicans, they won’t be supporting this bill as this will just increase the federal budget deficit. Well, that’s all for now in this issue.

well its good to see congress is doing all they can to get kaagan through her interviews and into her seat before there recess for almost 2 weeks, on the other hand they dont seem to care that close to 2M ppl will be w/o money the same week. im glad we have an office that is partial to americans what good does it do to have another supreme court judge on the bench before the 4th of July, while abt 2M ppl will celebrate the fourth with nothing. thanks america, land of opportunity…HA!

I have 4 kids and they shut mine off with no notice whatsoever. How about we freeze all the republicans fat accounts for a month or so and see what its like without any funds, but remember give them no notice like we got.
It is a shame that millions and millions were left out of their lifeline who exhausted benefits. But the individual that was with the president they said he will get benefits ! How he has been laid off for two years! The ones who exhausted and will not get any lifeline are probably the ones who are hurting the worse it only makes sense if 26 , 34, 45 and 99 weeks could not find employment there is still a job issue in this country!
ALL unemployed who are not getting any new benefits since this last new passage needs to stay on congress and president to show there are more that a few that need to be in this Bill they left out!
Thank you american senate for working so hard passing bills such as Jubilee USA Network Senate Foreign Relations Committee Passage of Jubilee Act to Expand, Reform Poor Country Debt Cancellation and sending our jobs to other countries.
We are no longer taking care of our own and while your families eat steak tonight millions of americans that have worked over 20 plus years and paid dearly into this system will suffer and become homeless. Oh just to make a point these are the 99er’s and people who have no jobs because their are no jobs you made sure of that when you passed bills allowing your friends and business partners permission to send our jobs over seas for a better profit.
Oh and stop blaming the president he was voted into this mess which was created many, many years ago.
I can’t say god bless america but I will say shame on you. What it will cost you to fund tiers 5 thru 10 will only be a drop in the bucket compared to the pork you have already funded for years to come.
